Adel Mussabekova
Dear DA Community,
It is a great honour to serve as the President of the Diplomatic Academy Students Initiative (DASI) for the upcoming academic year. My name is Adel Mussabekova, and I am originally from Kazakhstan. Before joining the Diplomatic Academy, I studied Business, Economics and Social Sciences at WU Vienna and spent an exchange semester at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL in Paris. These experiences have shaped my appreciation for international exchange and the diverse perspectives that make our DA community so unique.
One of my main goals as DASI President is to strengthen the connections that make the Diplomatic Academy such a unique place. Beyond bringing together our current cohorts, I hope to foster closer ties across programmes, generations of students, societies, and alumni, creating a community where everyone feels welcome, represented, and encouraged to contribute.
I firmly believe that DASI is built by its students. Our ideas, initiatives, and feedback are what shape our community. Let's build it together!
Dolunay
Dear Everyone,
I am very delighted to act upon the position of the Diplomatic Academy Students Initiative Vice President for the upcoming year. With all my professionalism I intend on creating a transparent and inclusive experience for all the second years and the new incoming students.
My name is Dolunay and I was born and raised in the Austrian jewel of Salzburg. Before joining the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, I had studied International Business Administration at the Vienna University of Business and Economics with the second language of French.
Far long ago, my path was already written of joining an international circle. Since I have turkic roots, nomadic culture has been a part of my lifestyle. The curiosity and interest in moving, seeing new land and culture and learning about it has been an impulse that led my journey and feeling a belonging wherever you go. Through academic possibilities, I had the ability to live in many cities around the world, such as Japan, US, UK, Italy and also Türkiye.
So, I love bringing all cultures together creating a common space of exchange, as it is my role in bringing all of the Societies of our Students Initiative.

Dear Everyone,
I am truly excited to be part of the Diplomatic Academy Students' Initiative as your Treasurer for the upcoming year. For me, this role is about more than managing budgets and keeping track of finances, it is about helping turn ideas into reality and ensuring that our student community has the support it needs to organise memorable events and initiatives.
My name is Gilbert and I am currently pursuing the ETIA programme. Languages have always been an important part of my life. I speak German, English, French and Russian and have always enjoyed connecting with people from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds as it offers the opportunity to exchange ideas from all over the world and learn from different perspectives.
As Treasurer, I hope to contribute by providing a reliable financial foundation for the Students' Initiative, allowing great ideas to become successful projects. I look forward to working closely with the entire team and helping create a welcoming, engaging, and unforgettable year for both new and returning students.

Hey everyone!
My name is Jess, and I am your DASI Secretary for this academic year. I am originally from Sydney, Australia, and before joining the Diplomatic Academy, I studied International and Global Studies, and Indonesian Studies at the University of Sydney.
As Secretary, I will be supporting the organisation and communication of DASI, keeping our meetings and records in order, and helping ensure that students remain informed and involved throughout the year.
I am passionate about building an inclusive, approachable and active student community, and I am very excited to work alongside the rest of the DASI team to create a year filled with opportunities, connection and plenty of fun!

Course Speakers
The DASI Course Speakers build a bridge between the DASI Presidium and the Students. They are the first responsibles to approach when any help is needed regarding courses, classes, grades and questions or wishes. Each cohort as MAIS, ETIA, DIA and DLG elects two candidates, who will represent them.
